"Found in the Transkei region of South Africa in dung, under the shade of a tree near the coast, and is the only cubensis naturally found on the continent. It is possible this is the mushroom referred to in Terrence Mckenna's ""stoned ape theory"", the theory that psilocybe mushrooms positively influenced human evolutions. Its caps are often medium to small in size, triangular or spear-shaped, and orangish brown to whitish-yellow in color. Stipes are often very long and slender, frequently curving. Sporulation is typically light. Reviewed as average potency and a great experience for beginner users.
