"The Psilocybe Tampanensis is an uncommon species in the Psilocybe genus. First discovered in 1977 in a sandy meadow near the city of Tampa, Florida. It was later found in Mississippi as well. Officially classified in 1978 by mycologists Steven Pollock and Gastón Guzmán. The fruiting bodies of this species are yellowish to brown in color. Its caps are convex to conic and can be up to 2.4 centimeters in diameter. Its stems are thin and can grow up to 6 centimeters long. Its spores are purple-brown in color. The psychedelic effects of this species are said to be more of a “body high” with feelings of heaviness in the limbs. Other effects may include euphoria, visual hallucinations, laughing and giggling, and warmth."
