"Psilocybe Mexicana originated in the jungles of Central America. It can be found in Mexico, Guatemala, and some subtropical swampy areas of Florida. Theorized to have been used by the Aztecs for its psychedelic properties. Physical characteristics of this species include small conic-shaped caps that are ochre to brown to beige in color, thin, hollow stems that range in color from brownish to straw, and dark purple-brown spores. Considered to have a mild to moderate potency with reported effects including visual hallucinations, strong feelings of happiness and connectedness to one’s surroundings, fits of laughter, and spiritual feelings."
