"Psilocybe Quebecensis is native to the province of Quebec, Canada. A rare, not well documented species found in the Jacques-Cartier River Valley that usually grows on woody debris in small groups. Fruiting bodies are small with distinct characteristics of translucent striations on the caps when wet, and blue bruising with age or handling. Caps can be yellowish to brownish in color, and stems are smooth, fibrous, and yellowish to brownish in color as well. Spores are dark purple to brown in color. Effects of this species are not well documented but are likely mild with similar to the Psilocybe Baeocystis species: light visual hallucinations, feelings of happiness, and connection to one’s surroundings."
